Job Description

Job Details:

This position is responsible for leading and directing the Tyson private fleet transportation team to achieve business and financial objectives.

Responsibilities include:

Driver management.

On time service management.

Driver safety management.

Driver and load problem resolution.

Other duties as assigned.

2nd Shift (Nights): 12 hour shift. Sunday - Tuesday or Wednesday - Friday (rotate Saturdays).

REQUIREMENTS: 

Computer Skills: Basic computer skills Microsoft Office is a plus; Tyson Business Computer Systems to include Sale Inventory, SAP, Transportation and Warehousing Systems.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and communication skills.

Supervisory: Position acts as a team leader providing functional supervision for other members of the work unit such as assigning work and training lower level employees.

Travel: 1-5 domestic trips per year.
